We are delighted to inform you that Star Outreach Project will be working with Primary Schools to deliver a programme to support Somali parents work more effectively with schools in order to help their child/children reach their full potential.
This programme is designed to help parents have a better understanding of their child/children’s educational needs and wellbeing, including safeguarding.
We will cover key issues such as parenting, attendance, homework and school reports. We are hopeful that these sessions will help parents form a strong partnership with their respective child/children's schools, as this is vital to the educational development and needs of children.
The workshop at Lever Edge was a resounding success, and was highly reviewed by both the school and the parents. We look forward to working with schools across Greater Manchester in the future!
